Katie Davis proudly serves as the principal of Bluff City High School, bringing over a decade of educational experience and a deep commitment to student success. Originally from Corinth, Mississippi, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from Mississippi State University and later completed a master’s degree in School Leadership from Arkansas State University.
She began her career as an English Language Arts teacher at Wooddale Middle School before moving into leadership as an assistant principal at Hillcrest High School. Now at the helm of Bluff City High, she leads with vision, urgency, and a passion for creating equitable academic and enrichment opportunities for all students.
A proud Memphis resident for the past 10 years, Principal Davis has built strong roots in the community and values the power of relationships in driving student achievement. As a mother of six boys and wife of 20 years, she understands firsthand the importance of providing school experiences that are responsive to the unique needs of every child. Her leadership style is student-centered, grounded in high expectations, and driven by the belief that every student deserves access to transformative learning.
